Both passes boost the XP you earn, but in different ways.
X2 EXP (199 Robux) doubles your EXP. That is a 100% boost.
VIP (799 Robux) gives 25% more XP. On top of that, you get:
- A VIP chat tag.
- An overhead UI above your character.
- The VIP Dagger.
Verdict: if you only care about levelling faster, X2 EXP is the clear winner. It costs about a quarter of the price and gives a much bigger XP boost. VIP is mostly a cosmetic pass. Its XP boost is small. Pick VIP only if you really want the tag, the overhead look and the dagger.

Clone Dagger: the priciest pass
The Clone Dagger costs 1799 Robux. It is the most expensive pass in the game.
Its ability works like this:
- It makes 2 clones of you.
- The clones last 12 seconds.
- It has a 45-second cooldown.
- The ability refreshes when you become a catcher and with each match.
In the shop, it sits under the Robux exclusive section. The shop card has shown "OFFER ENDED", so check it is still on sale before you think about it.
Verdict: this is the only pass here with a listed ability, which makes it the most interesting one. But it is also very pricey. The free starter knife is always there if you'd rather not spend.
Spoon Dagger and Premium Pass
The Spoon Dagger costs 199 Robux. It is a dagger for your collection. No extra perks are listed for it, so treat it as a cosmetic.
The Premium Pass costs 799 Robux. Its perks are not listed on the pass. It's best not to buy something when you don't know what it gives you.
Verdict: the Spoon Dagger is a cheap cosmetic if you like the look. Skip the Premium Pass until its perks are clear.
Free knives you can get instead
You don't need Robux for a knife. Everyone starts with the Valley Original equipped.

Abilities: Robux or Gems
Abilities are not game passes, but you can buy them with Robux too. The good news is that you can also unlock them with Gems instead. They are permanent unlocks for Runners. You have to unlock an ability before you can equip it.
