Build the Pyramid! Robux Perks: Skips vs Permanent Boosts

Build the Pyramid! sells a lot of Robux extras. Some are tiny boosts that cost only a few Robux. Others cost over 1,000 Robux. This guide lists every game pass and Shop perk, says what each one does, and explains which ones only skip progress you can earn for free. Picking up blocks and carrying them to the pyramid costs nothing, so treat this as a buyer's checklist, not a shopping list.

Where to find the passes

There are two places to buy Robux items:

1. The right side of the HUD. The 1.5x Speed and 2x Strength buttons sit here. Clicking one opens a Robux purchase prompt straight away. If you clicked by accident, close it with the X.
2. The Shop. Click the red SHOP icon at the top of the screen. Scroll down the list to see the characters (Pharaoh and Sun God), Boost Server Training and all the GYM unlocks. Close it with the X at the top right of the panel.

The Shop only sells Robux items. Coins and gems are spent in the UPGRADES area instead.

The cheap boosts: 1.5x Speed and 2x Strength

These are the two cheapest buys in the game.

• 1.5x Speed costs 3 Robux. It makes you move faster.
• 2x Strength costs 5 Robux. It doubles your strength.

Verdict: if you want to spend any Robux at all, start here. They cost very little. They are game passes, so you pay once. You don't need them, though. You can still train speed and strength the normal way.

Pharaoh vs Sun God

Pharaoh and Sun God are characters in the Shop. Each one gives you a set of perks.

Pharaoh: 149 Robux - 2x Pyramids - Instafill (from the official pass description) - Quick Pickup - Quick Place

Sun God: 1200 Robux - 4x Pyramids - Ultra-Quick Grab - Ultra-Quick Place

Verdict: Pharaoh costs about an eighth of the Sun God price and already gives you faster grabbing, faster placing and 2x pyramids. Sun God doubles the pyramid bonus again and makes grabbing and placing even quicker. That's a big upgrade, but it costs a lot. If you're choosing between them, Pharaoh is the better value. Both are permanent boosts, not skips, so they keep helping for as long as you play.

Gym unlock passes vs unlocking gyms for free

Gyms boost your training. Each gym unlocks for free once you've completed enough pyramids. The gym passes simply let you skip that requirement.

Verdict: these passes don't give you anything extra in the long run. Keep playing and you'll unlock every one of these gyms for free. The 2x Gym only skips 1 pyramid, which makes it the smallest skip. The bigger gyms skip a lot more play, but once you've completed enough pyramids, the pass gives you nothing new. For the full list of gym multipliers, see Build the Pyramid! Gyms Explained: Every Multiplier and Unlock.

ADMIN Gym 250x

The ADMIN GYM 250x costs 1499 Robux, which makes it the most expensive item in the game. The Shop says it lets you "Train Speed and Strength faster". It's the strongest gym multiplier listed.

Unlike the other gyms, its pass doesn't mention a pyramid requirement. So it doesn't look like a skip. It looks like an extra you can only get with Robux.

Verdict: it's a huge training boost at a huge price. You can still progress through the free gyms without it.

Boost Server Training

Boost Server Training costs 49 Robux. It raises training for the whole server from x1 to x2. So everyone in your server gets double training, not just you.

Verdict: this is a kind buy that helps everyone you're playing with. We haven't confirmed how long it lasts, so check the card before buying.

Skips vs permanent boosts: quick summary

Boosts that last (things you can't earn by playing): - 1.5x Speed (3 Robux) - 2x Strength (5 Robux) - Pharaoh (149 Robux) - Sun God (1200 Robux) - ADMIN Gym 250x (1499 Robux)

Skips (things you can earn for free by completing pyramids): - Unlock 2x, 5x, 10x, 25x, 50x, 75x and 100x Gym (29 to 1099 Robux)

If you're new, play a few pyramids first and see how you like the game. The early gyms only need a few pyramids, so you can unlock them without spending anything. The Build the Pyramid! Beginner's Guide: First Session Walkthrough shows you how to get started.
