Rebirthing is how you get stronger for good in +1 Stone Skipping. You give up your Level and SKILL. In return, your skill multiplier goes up and you can reach a higher level cap. Rebirths also unlock the faster training lanes. This guide covers when to rebirth, how to do it step by step, and what you get each time.
When to rebirth
Only rebirth when you are at MAX LEVEL. You'll know you're ready when:
- The level bar says MAX LEVEL.
- The Rebirth button on the left menu shows 100%.
The percentage on the Rebirth button tells you how close you are. For example, at Level 67 out of a Level 80 cap, it shows about 83%. Keep training until it hits 100%.
Don't rebirth early. A rebirth resets your Level and SKILL to 0, so it's only worth it once you've hit the cap.
Level caps and multipliers
Each rebirth does two things:
- Adds +1 to your skill multiplier. It goes x3 → x4 → x5, and so on.
- Raises your level cap by 20.
The level caps go like this:
- Before your first rebirth: Level 20
- After 1 rebirth: Level 40
- After 2 rebirths: Level 60
- After 3 rebirths: Level 80
So each rebirth needs a higher level than the last one. For example, going from x4 to x5 SKILL needs Level 80. A higher multiplier means you build SKILL faster, so you throw farther and earn more Wins.
What you lose and what you gain
You lose:
- Your Level (back to 0)
- Your SKILL (back to 0)
The Rebirth popup says it plainly: "Resets your LEVEL and SKILL". Those are the only two things it lists.
You gain:
- +1 skill multiplier
- A level cap that's 20 higher
- Progress towards the faster training lanes
How to rebirth step by step
- Train until the level bar shows MAX LEVEL and the Rebirth button shows 100%.
- Click the Rebirth button on the left menu. It sits with Shop, Pets, Trails, Inventory and Gifts.
- Check the popup. It shows your multiplier before and after, for example ×4 SKILL → ×5 SKILL. Make sure it's going up.
- Click the green Rebirth button.
- Wait for the white flash to finish.
- Close the popup with the red X.
Afterwards your Level and SKILL will be at 0. Head straight back to the best training lane you have.
How rebirths unlock faster training lanes
The training lanes are just ahead of spawn. You get more lanes as you rebirth:
- 1x SKILL: open from the start
- 4x SKILL: unlocks at 2 rebirths
- 10x SKILL: unlocks at 4 rebirths
Always train on the best lane you have. A faster lane plus a bigger multiplier gets you to MAX LEVEL much quicker, and that makes your next rebirth come sooner.
To leave a training lane, press Space to jump. Walking off won't work.
Tips for reaching max level faster
- Stand on your highest unlocked lane every time you train.
- Buy better stones and relics with Wins. Each one gives you more Skill per gain.
- When you join, claim the Welcome Back offline reward. You keep training while you're offline.
- Open Gifts for Playtime Rewards. Some of these gifts give SKILL.
- Your first rebirth is part of the tutorial. It asks you to equip a new stone, reach Level 20, then rebirth.
The Auto Rebirth pass
There's a game pass called Auto Rebirth that costs 149 Robux. It does the rebirths for you. You don't need it. Rebirthing by hand only takes a few clicks once you hit MAX LEVEL.
