Grow a Garden has badges for planting, rare fruit, selling, gear, pets, eggs and seed packs. A few are quick to get on your first day. Others take a lot longer. This guide lists every badge with its official requirement, plus a tip to help you earn it. Badges are grouped by type, so you can plan which ones to go for next.
Starter badge: Your first carrot!
Requirement: Plant a carrot!
This is the easiest badge in the game.
- Click SEEDS on the HUD to teleport to Sam.
- Press E to talk to Sam and open the Seed Shop.
- Click Carrot Seed, then click the green 10¢ button.
- Close the shop with the X. Don't press Escape, because that opens the Roblox menu.
- Click GARDEN, walk forward a little and then to the right, onto the brown soil.
- Pick the Carrot Seed in your hotbar and click the soil.

The badge pops up as soon as the seed goes in.

Rare fruit badges: SHINY!, Colorful fruit! and God apple!
SHINY! – Collect your first gold fruit!
Colorful fruit! – Pick a rainbow fruit!
God apple! – Pick a golden apple.
These three come down to luck. The game says there is only a small chance for rainbow crops. The more plants you grow and harvest, the more chances you get.
Tips: - Keep your plot full. Your garden grows while you are offline, so plant before you log off. - Harvest everything. The badges ask you to pick or collect the fruit, so walk up to each grown plant and press E at the [E] Collect prompt. - For God apple! you need an apple, and Apple Seeds are rare. Their stock odds in the Seed Shop are 1.45%. Check the shop at every restock.

Selling and planting badges
Carrot connoisseur – Sell 1000 carrots.
Carrots are cheap at 10¢ a seed and grow in about 6-7 seconds. That makes this a steady grind, not a hard one.
- Buy as many Carrot Seeds as you can afford.
- Plant them all, wait about 7 seconds and collect each one.
- Click SELL, press E at Steven and choose I want to sell my Inventory.
- Repeat. Sell everything in one trip to save time.
The Daily Quest Harvest 100 Carrots lines up nicely with this badge.

Melon madness! – Planted 50 Water melons total!
The count is a running total, so you don't need 50 at once. Watermelon Seeds have stock odds of 2.55%, so buy them whenever you see them. The quest Plant 5x Watermelon Seeds also has you planting them.
GIANT TOMATO – Sell a tomato thats above 7KG
Heavier crops sell for more, and each fruit shows its weight in your hotbar. Tomato Seeds are common in the shop (20.37% stock odds). Grow lots of them, check the weight of each one, and sell any tomato over 7kg.
Spikey! – Sold Cactus Fruit
You need to grow a cactus and sell its fruit. Cactus Seeds are rare, with stock odds of 0.68%. Quests like Plant 2x Cactus Seeds and Harvest 10 Cacti sometimes show up. Remember to sell at least one cactus fruit, as harvesting alone won't earn the badge.
For seed odds and prices, see Grow a Garden Seeds List: Prices, Rarity and Stock Odds.
Gear badges: Care taker and the sprinklers
Care taker – Use 10 watering cans!
The Daily Quests reward track can give Watering Can x10, which is exactly enough. Finish your Daily Quests, claim the cans, then use all ten.
Purchased Basic Sprinkler! – Purchased Basic Sprinkler!
Purchased Advanced Sprinkler! – Purchased Advanced Sprinkler!
Purchased Godly Sprinkler! – THE GODLY SPRINKY
The badge names say "Purchased", so plan to buy each sprinkler. The shops row has a GEAR stall, and the Gear Shop restocks at the same time as the Seed Shop, Pet Shop and Event Shop, so check it whenever the seed timer runs out.
The Daily Quests track sometimes includes sprinklers too, such as Advanced Sprinkler x3. They're handy for your garden, but a reward might not count as a purchase for the badge.

Pet, egg and seed pack badges
Pet Master – Get a pet to age 100
This is a long-term badge. The Levelup Lollipop helps. Its description says it increases your pet's age by up to 1, and it's less effective on pets aged 100 or more. It shows up in the Season Pass Store stock odds at 0.46%, so it's rare. Grab one whenever it's in stock.
What Came First? – Hatch 200 Eggs
The shops row has a Pet Eggs stall, and you may already have a Common Egg in your hotbar. Hatch every egg you get. The Core Pets achievements (for eggs in the egg shop) will keep you on track.
Seedpack Connoisseur – Open 200 Seed Packs
You can get seed packs from free rewards. The Daily Quests track gives Normal Seed Packs and a Gardener Seed Pack. The Season Pass gives a Season 8 Seed Pack on Tier 4. Open each pack as soon as you get it so they all count. See Grow a Garden Season Pass: Quests, XP and Rewards for more.
Grand Achievement
Requirement: Finish the Core Fruit Achievement Set
To track it:
- Click Guide on the HUD. It opens your Profile, not a tutorial.
- Click the Achievements tab.
- Look at the Core sets. Core Plants covers the seeds sold in the Seed Shop.

Work through each plant achievement one at a time. They cover seeds from the Seed Shop, so buying rare seeds when they restock will help a lot here.
Letter badges: N, E, D, R, G and A
There are six letter badges: N, E, D, R, G and A. Put together, they spell GARDEN.
None of them has an official description, so there's no listed requirement. Check back after updates, and click EVENT NOTIFY on the HUD to read about new events.
