Grow a Garden Game Passes and Robux Shop: Worth It?

Grow a Garden is free to play, but it has a Season Pass Premium and a Limited Time Shop full of Robux offers. This guide goes through the paid items we found, one by one. For each, you'll see what it costs, what's inside, the odds where the game shows them, and a fair verdict. You never have to buy anything to progress. Seeds, crops and Sheckles all come from normal play, so read this before you spend.

Quick verdicts

Here is the short version. Details for each item are further down.

• Season Pass Premium (749 Robux): Only worth thinking about if you'll play a lot before the season ends. The free track already gives rewards.
• Exotic Autumn Seed Pack (199 / 575 / 1,699 Robux): It's a gamble. The best reward has a 0.5% chance.
• Premium Autumn Egg (149 / 429 / 1,249 Robux): Also a gamble. Most hatches land on the 54% or 35% result.
• Gold Shovel Pack (399 Robux): Just for fun. It won't help your garden grow.
• Seed Rain (199 / 699 / 1,299 Robux): It's expensive, and the shop doesn't explain much about it.
• Trading Sign (200 Robux): It's permanent. Useful if you trade a lot.
• Forever Pack: Claim the free steps. The paid step is only 39 Robux.
• Premium Seed Pack: You can't buy it any more.

How to find the Robux shops

There are two places to look.

Limited Time Shop 1. Click Shop on the left of the HUD. 2. Scroll down over the offers about 4 times to see them all. 3. Close it with the X.

Season Pass 1. Click Pass on the HUD. It opens on the REWARDS tab. 2. Click QUESTS or STORE to switch tabs. 3. In STORE, scroll down to find more items and the Odds button. 4. Close it with the X.

Don't press Escape to close menus. That opens the Roblox system menu. Use the X button instead.

Season Pass Premium: 749 Robux

Every tier of the Season Pass has two reward rows: free and premium. Premium unlocks the second row. You earn XP for the pass by finishing Season Pass quests. Each quest gives x400 points, and level 1 needs 600 XP.

Here's how the first tiers compare:

Premium also lists other unlockable rewards: Rainbow Bakul, Gold Cosmic Dew, Gold Fernberry, Giant Binturong and Cloud Steps.

Verdict: Premium gives you bigger or upgraded versions of the free rewards. You still have to do the quests to unlock them, though. The season has a countdown, so Premium is worth the most if you buy it early and play often. If you only play now and then, stick with the free track. Exotic Autumn Seed Pack: 199, 575 or 1,699 Robux

Prices:

• 1 Pack: 199 Robux
• 3 Packs: 575 Robux
• 10 Packs: 1,699 Robux

Each pack can give one of six rewards, with odds of 39%, 25%, 20%, 10%, 4.5% and 0.5%. There's also a 1% chance of a mystery item.

The bundles cost less per pack. Ten single packs would cost 1,990 Robux, so the 10-pack saves you 291 Robux. Three singles would cost 597 Robux, so the 3-pack only saves 22.

Verdict: These odds really matter. A 0.5% chance works out to about 1 in 200 opens, so even ten packs will probably miss the top reward. Most packs will give you the 39% or 25% result. Only buy one if you're happy with the common results. Don't buy hoping for the rare one.

Premium Autumn Egg: 149, 429 or 1,249 Robux

Prices:

• 1 Egg: 149 Robux
• 3 Eggs: 429 Robux
• 10 Eggs: 1,249 Robux (shown as discounted)

The hatch odds are 54%, 35%, 9.5% and 0.5%, plus a 1% chance of a mystery pet.

Ten single eggs would cost 1,490 Robux, so the 10-egg bundle saves 241 Robux.

Verdict: It's the same story as the seed pack. Nearly 9 out of 10 hatches land on the 54% or 35% pet. The 0.5% pet is very unlikely. If you want a pet just for fun, one egg is the cheapest way to try. Don't expect the rare one.

Gold Shovel Pack: 399 Robux

This pack contains:

• X1 Gold Shovel: "Hit people anywhere!"
• X1 Jump + Speed coil: a jump and speed boost

Verdict: This is a fun item, not a farming one. The SEEDS, GARDEN and SELL buttons already teleport you around, so a speed boost saves very little time. Your normal Shovel still works for removing plants.

Seed Rain: 199, 699 or 1,299 Robux

Seed Rain comes in three levels in the Limited Time Shop:

• Mythic: 199 Robux
• Divine: 699 Robux
• Prismatic: 1,299 Robux

Verdict: These are some of the priciest offers in the shop, and the shop doesn't say much about them. Read the offer's details carefully first, and never buy one by accident. You don't need Seed Rain to grow a great garden. Seeds restock in the Seed Shop all the time, and you can buy them with Sheckles.

Trading Sign: 200 Robux

The Trading Sign is permanent. It gives you your own player's booth to help you "sell stuff easier", and you also get +200 Tokens.

Tokens are spent in-game. For example, a Season 8 Crate costs 100 Tokens.

Verdict: It's permanent and comes with Tokens, so it's the best long-term value here. Even so, it's only useful if you trade with other players a lot. If you mostly farm on your own, skip it.

Forever Pack: free steps plus one 39 Robux step

The Forever Pack is a chain of rewards:

1. Master Sprinkler: FREE
2. Energy Chew x5: 39 Robux
3. Sheckles x2500: FREE

An Octobloom Seed is also listed as a possible reward. The Forever Pack has its own timer, so it won't stay forever.

Verdict: Always claim the free Master Sprinkler. The paid step is cheap compared to everything else. Still, you can earn 2,500 Sheckles by farming, and Master Sprinklers also show up on the free Daily Quests reward track.

Premium Seed Pack and rotating offers

The Premium Seed Pack game pass is no longer for sale. If a video or old guide mentions it, you can't buy it now.

Limited Time offers also rotate. The Exotic Autumn Seed Pack and Premium Autumn Egg both said "Ending in Today" when we checked. Prices, contents and odds can change when new offers appear. Always check the shop and the Odds button before you decide. Don't feel rushed by a timer either. Another offer will come along.

Free ways to get similar rewards

You can get a lot without spending any Robux:

• Daily Quests give Normal Seed Packs, a Random Seed, a Master Sprinkler and a final Gardener Seed Pack.
• The Season Pass free track gives a Dormouse, a Drowse Daisy Seed and a Season 8 Seed Pack in the early tiers.
• The Seed Shop also sells seeds for Robux (for example Carrot Seed for 7 Robux or Blueberry Seed for 49 Robux), but Carrot Seed is only 10¢ in Sheckles.
