Your backpack decides how many logs you can carry before you have to stop chopping. You start with room for only 5 logs, so you'll be walking back to sell all the time. The first upgrade costs $175 and takes you to 15 logs. In the usual buy order, it comes right after the Axe. Where to find the backpack upgrade
The backpack isn't in the Tool Shop. It sits on a stump next to the Sell Logs pad, just outside the cabin. The tutorial quest "Buy the Backpack at the cabin" points you there too.
Walk up to the stump and press E to View it. A panel opens with the price of your next tier.
How to buy a backpack tier
- Chop and sell logs until you have at least $175. The "Save up for the Backpack" quest at the top left tracks this for you.
- Go to the Backpack stump next to the Sell Logs pad.
- Press E to View it.
- Click the green BUY $175 button.
- Check the counter at the bottom left. It should now read 0/15 instead of 0/5.
- Close the panel with the red X.
Skip the Infinite Bag, because it costs Robux. Click the green coin button. If a Robux window pops up by mistake, close it with the X.
Every backpack tier: cost and capacity
Here are the tiers in order:
- Starting bag: 5 logs (free)
- First upgrade: $175, holds 15 logs
- Next upgrade: $750, holds 25 logs
- Higher tiers: players report tiers that hold 75 and then 150 logs
The jump from 5 to 15 matters most. You make three times fewer trips for just $175. The $750 tier adds 10 more slots. That helps, but it isn't urgent.
What happens when your bag is full
When the counter reads full (5/5, or 15/15 after the upgrade), you can't pick up any more logs into the backpack. On top of a full bag, you can carry 5 more logs in your hands.
When you're full, you have two choices:
- Walk to the SELL LOGS / DROP LOGS pad and click the sell prompt.
- If you own a truck, aim at the truck bed and click CLICK LOAD TRUCK. Your whole backpack goes in at once.

Bigger Bundle: a small boost for gems
The Gem Perks tab in the SHOP has a perk called Bigger Bundle. It costs 30 gems and gives +1 log of carrying space.

Is the INF backpack worth 149 Robux?
The INF backpack game pass costs 149 Robux. It removes the limit on how many logs you carry on your back, so you never have to stop chopping because your bag is full.
Here are some things to think about before you decide:
- The coin tiers are cheap. $175 and $750 come quickly once you start selling truckloads.
- Once you have a truck, you load it every time your bag fills, so a small bag matters less.
- Your truck still holds a set number of logs (50 for the Rusty Runabout), so you'll still drive back to sell.

Get the trucks before the $750 bag. With a truck parked next to the trees, you just fill your bag, load it into the truck and carry on chopping.
