Chop A Forest Game Passes: Forever Tools, Prices and Verdicts

Checked in-game 17 Oct 2026 Updated 17 Oct 2026

Chop A Forest is played in runs. You start a run, clear the forest, and next time you start again. That's why most passes here are called "Forever": you get the item in every run, not just once. Below is every pass with its Robux price, what it does and whether it's worth it. Some passes appear twice in the shop under different names, so I've put those together. Off-sale passes have their own section. You can play the whole game without any of these. Coins, gems and the shop upgrades get you very far for free.

How passes work in a run-based game

Each run starts fresh, so you have to buy tools like the Axe again with coins. A Forever pass skips that. The tool is waiting for you every time a run starts.

There are three kinds of Robux buys:

  • Forever passes: the tool or helper in every run.
  • Boost passes: they change how the game works, like Double Coins or INF backpack.
  • Single-run buys: they only last for one run, or even just a few minutes.

Always check which kind you're looking at before you buy.

Axe Forever (79 Robux)

What it does: you get the Axe in every run you play.

Without it, you buy the Axe at the Tool Shop for 150 coins in each run. With an axe, trees come down in far fewer hits than with your fists.

Verdict: this is the cheapest pass, but it only saves you the start of a run. 150 coins comes in quickly from chopping and selling. It's a nice time-saver if you play lots of runs, but you don't need it.

Double Coins / 2X Coins (199 Robux)

What it does: every log sells for double. The shop lists it as Double Coins, and the sign next to the Tool Shop calls it 2X Coins. They are the same pass at the same price, 199 Robux.

Logs normally sell for $1 each at the SELL LOGS pad, and a full 50-log truck shows roughly $1,000. With this pass, the same load is worth about twice as much.

Verdict: of all the passes, this one makes the biggest difference to your income, because it works on every sale. For a free boost, the Sell Value Gem Perk gives +10% cash per log for 25 gems. Buy that first either way.

INF backpack / Infinite Backpack / Infinite Bag (149 Robux)

What it does: there's no limit on how many logs you can carry on your back.

This pass has three names in the game:

  • INF backpack (149 Robux) is the one on sale now.
  • Infinite Backpack is a second listing that is off sale.
  • Infinite Bag is what the stump next to the Sell Logs pad calls it (R$149).

Your free backpack starts at 5 logs. The $175 tier takes it to 15, and the next tier costs $750.

Verdict: it's handy, but a truck already fixes most of the problem. You fill your backpack, click the truck bed, and the whole backpack goes in at once. The free backpack tiers and a truck are enough for most players.

Vacuum, Chainsaw and Dynamite Forever

What they do: each one gives you that tool in every run.

  • Vacuum Forever: 199 Robux, the log Vacuum
  • Chainsaw Forever: 249 Robux, the Chainsaw
  • Dynamite Forever: 249 Robux, Dynamite

You can also get these tools inside a run. There are badges for buying each one (Clean Sweep, Chainsaw Wielder and Demolition Expert). What each pass saves you depends on the tool's in-game price, which I don't cover here.

Verdict: only think about one of these once you know which tool you use most and you're buying it every single run. Otherwise, save your Robux.

Lumberjack Bot Forever (400 Robux)

What it does: the Lumberjack Bot is yours in every run. He chops trees, picks up the wood and sells it at the chipper for you.

Verdict: it's pricey, but it's the only pass that does the whole loop for you. It suits players who want extra coins coming in while they do other things. If you enjoy chopping and hauling yourself, you can skip it.

Clawman Class (1499 Robux)

What it does: it unlocks the Wolverine class and its claws.

Verdict: this is by far the most expensive pass. The official description doesn't say how strong the claws are compared with other tools. Classes also come from the class stand next to the Rewards hut. Only buy it if you really want the Wolverine look and you're happy not knowing how strong it is.

Off-sale passes

These are in the pass list, but you can't buy them right now:

  • Double Logs: every log you grab counts as two.
  • Double Luck: every class roll is twice as lucky.
  • Extra Class Slot: one more slot to keep a class in.
  • Fast Rolls: class rolls spin much faster.
  • Infinite Backpack: the off-sale listing. Use INF backpack instead.

If one of these comes back, it will show as buyable in the shop again.

Single-run Robux buys

These aren't passes. They don't carry over to your next run.

  • Trial Saw: 25 Robux, lasts 5 minutes.
  • Axe for one run: 19 Robux. It's the rainbow button on the Axe display.

Verdict: the one-run Axe makes no sense when the coin price is only 150. If you want the Axe in every run, Axe Forever is 79 Robux.

How to avoid buying by accident

Some Robux buttons sit right next to coin buttons, so take care:

  1. Don't press 3 in a run. That slot is the Trial Saw, and it opens a Robux prompt.
  2. In the Tool Shop, click the middle BUY button with the coin price (150 for the Axe), not the rainbow one.
  3. At the Backpack stump, click the green coin BUY $175 button and leave the Infinite Bag alone.
  4. If a Robux window pops up by mistake, close it with the X.

Frequently asked questions

Do Forever passes in Chop A Forest last between runs?

Yes. Chop A Forest is run-based, and Forever passes give you the item in every run you play, so you never have to buy it again with coins.

Which Chop A Forest game pass is the best?

Double Coins (199 Robux) makes the biggest difference, because every log sells for double. You don't need any pass to enjoy the game, though.

Is 2X Coins the same as Double Coins?

Yes. The sign by the Tool Shop says 2X Coins and the shop says Double Coins. Both cost 199 Robux and make every log sell for double.

What's the difference between INF backpack and Infinite Backpack?

They do the same thing: no limit on the logs on your back. Infinite Backpack is off sale. INF backpack (149 Robux) is the one you can buy now.

Can I still buy Double Logs or Double Luck?

No. Double Logs, Double Luck, Extra Class Slot and Fast Rolls are all off sale right now.

Is Axe Forever worth it?

It's the cheapest pass at 79 Robux, but the Axe only costs 150 coins in each run. It saves a little time, but you don't need it.
