Your truck decides how many logs you can sell in one trip. A full 50-log load in the starter truck is worth about $1,000-1,070, and every tier above it carries more. The Garage has 10 trucks. Tiers 1 to 3 cost coins, Tiers 4 to 7 cost gems, and Tiers 8 to 10 sit behind a rainbow button. This guide lists every truck with its price, Speed and Carry. It also tells you which one to aim for next and how to buy and spawn it.
How the tiers go up
Each tier adds about +3 Speed and +25 Carry. Carry is how many logs the truck bed holds. Speed is how fast it drives to the sell pad.
The trucks from Tier 4 up are labelled PERMANENT in the Garage.
You can see the Speed and Carry bars for each truck in the Garage menu before you buy.
Coin trucks: Tiers 1 to 3
These are the trucks you buy with the coins you earn from chopping and selling.
- Tier 1 – Rusty Runabout: 500 coins. Speed 36, Carry 50. This is the starter truck. (One reading showed Speed 30.)
- Tier 2 – Farmhand Pickup: 2,800 coins. Speed 39, Carry 75. (One reading showed Speed 30.)
- Tier 3 – Timber Flatbed: 6,500 coins. Speed 42, Carry 100.
The Speed 36, 39 and 42 readings match the +3 per tier pattern, so they are probably the right ones.
Gem trucks: Tiers 4 to 7
These trucks cost gems, the blue diamond currency. All four are labelled PERMANENT.
- Tier 4 – Stakebed Hauler: 300 gems. Speed 45, Carry 125.
- Tier 5 – Ridge Dumper: 600 gems. Speed 48, Carry 150.
- Tier 6 – Ranger 6x6: 1,200 gems. Speed 51, Carry 175.
- Tier 7 – Timber Hauler: 2,000 gems. Carry 200. Its Speed wasn't shown when we checked.
You get gems from the daily reward, from sales and from blue gem drops on the ground. The guide Chop A Forest Gems: How to Get Them and Best Gem Perks has more on that.
Top trucks: Tiers 8 to 10 (and the currency question)
These are the biggest trucks. They are labelled PERMANENT.
- Tier 8 – Big Timber Rig: 149, on a rainbow BUY button. Carry about 225.
- Tier 9 – Ironwood 8x8: 299. Speed 60, Carry 260. (One reading showed Carry 250.)
- Tier 10 – Timber King: 499. Speed 64, Carry 300. This is the top tier.
A note on currency: the Garage readings disagree here. Some showed these prices with the rainbow BUY button, which in this game means Robux. Others listed the Ironwood 8x8 at 299 gems and the Timber King at 499 gems. Check the button colour before you click. A rainbow button means Robux. If a Robux prompt opens and you didn't mean it, close it with the X.
Which truck to buy next
Buy the coin trucks in order, with your backpack upgrades in between. This order works well:
- Axe ($150) and the first Backpack ($175, 15 slots)
- Rusty Runabout (500 coins)
- Farmhand Pickup (2,800 coins)
- Backpack upgrade ($750)
- Timber Flatbed (6,500 coins)
After that, the next trucks cost gems. The Stakebed Hauler at 300 gems is the first one. Remember that gems also buy Gem Perks, and Sell Value (25 gems, +10% cash per log) is a cheap first buy. Many players get that before saving for a gem truck.
The Tier 8 to 10 trucks are optional. You can keep making good money with the free trucks.

How to buy and spawn a truck
- Walk into the GARAGE and step onto the glowing yellow pad. The vehicle menu opens.
- Use the green arrows to flip through the trucks until you find the one you want.
- Check the price and the Speed and Carry bars.
- Click the yellow BUY button (the coin one, not a rainbow button).
- Click the green SPAWN button. Buying alone does not put the truck in the world.
- Click BACK to leave the menu.
To drive, stand by the truck and press E at the Drive prompt. Steer with WASD.
Filling and selling a truckload
- Drive the truck and park it right next to the trees you are chopping.
- Chop trees and pick up logs until your backpack is full.
- Aim at the truck bed and click CLICK LOAD TRUCK. Your whole backpack goes in at once.

- Keep going until the LOGS counter is nearly full. The value of the load shows under it.

- Press E to drive, then park on the DROP LOGS pad by the Timber Chomp chipper.
- Click CLICK SELL ... FROM TRUCK and wait for the "Sold N logs from your truck!" message.

- Walk round the side of the chipper to pick up the coins it throws out. Then press 2 to get your axe back out.
Common truck mistakes
- Forgetting SPAWN. After you buy a truck, you still have to click SPAWN.
- Pressing E to load. E puts you in the driver's seat. To load logs, click the truck bed when the CLICK LOAD TRUCK prompt shows.
- Selling half-empty loads. Wait until the truck is close to full before you drive off. That saves trips.
- Clicking rainbow buttons by mistake. Rainbow BUY buttons cost Robux. Close any Robux window with the X.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best truck in Chop A Forest?
The Timber King is Tier 10, the top tier. It has Speed 64 and Carry 300. Its price shows as 499, but the readings disagree on whether that is Robux or gems.
How much does the first truck cost?
The Rusty Runabout costs 500 coins. It is Tier 1 and carries 50 logs.
I bought a truck but it isn't there. What do I do?
Go back to the yellow pad in the Garage, pick the truck with the green arrows and click the green SPAWN button. Buying it doesn't spawn it for you.
How much is a full truckload worth?
A full 50-log load in the Rusty Runabout is worth about $1,000-1,070. Bigger trucks hold more logs, so you sell more in each trip.
Which trucks cost gems?
Tiers 4 to 7 cost gems: the Stakebed Hauler (300), Ridge Dumper (600), Ranger 6x6 (1,200) and Timber Hauler (2,000). Some readings also showed gem prices for Tiers 9 and 10.
Are the trucks permanent?
The trucks from Tier 4 and up are labelled PERMANENT in the Garage menu.
